We hope that the outcome of the conference will become a turning point in the development of a new approach to school psychology, which will carry in it the very best of what modern teacher education and psychological approaches have to offer.
School psychology is a new area for the Indian psychologists. There is no such separate discipline to cater to the needs of children at school level. Whereas, educational psychologists are play major role in satisfying the requirements of the educational institutions as counsellors and psychologists. There are several psychological models practiced in India especially for the school curriculum. One of the models is integral psychology conceived by Sri Aurobindo. Integral means a union of all the parts of our being with the Divine (Sri Aurobindo). Integral psychology is union of all kinds of yoga principles and methodological practices related to human psychology.
